Budiarsa Sastrawinata is the Managing Director of Ciputra Group and the President Director of PT Ciputra Residence, the company behind numerous leading new town developments in Indonesia (i.e. CitraGarden City Jakarta, CitraRaya Tangerang & CitraGrand City Palembang),  Son in law of Ir. Ciputra.

He is also the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Ciputra Group’s latest international new town developments, namely Grand Phnom Penh International City in Cambodia, Grand Shenyang International City in China and Ciputra Hanoi International City in Vietnam. For his outstanding performance in the project in Hanoi, Budiarsa received an award from Hanoi People’s Committee (HPC) in 2007. He was also presented with the Asean Businessmen Award 2007 by ACBF (Asean Capital Business Forum).

His present professional positions also include the President Director of PT Damai Indah Golf, a company that owns and operates two prestigious golf courses: a Jack Nicklaus Signature course and a Robert Trent Jones designed course, both in Jakarta.

Budiarsa is also actively involved in real estate organizations both domestically and internationally. He is a Member of the Advisory Council in Real Estate Indonesia (REI) and has served as President of International Urban Development Association (INTA) since 2007.

He was also a Member of the House of Representative and the Parliament of the Republic of Indonesia from 2004 to 2009.
